Does anyone know of any options out there that will left you learn from and IR remote and assign keyboard presses for the Mac. Most of the software I've seen out there is only for specific remote (IE Apple Remote, Keyspan Remote). What if you've got something like an MS MCE or something else.

I've only found one program IRED that seems to work for that. But it requires a specific IR receiver that can only be purchased from a European companyu for $109.

Any other ideas on how to get Mac key press support into XBMC for other then Apple remote?
