Whether I am watching Netflix or an Amazon Prime, I am always experiencing buffering or stuttering every time. I have cleared the cache and that didn't work and have also watched several you tube videos on how to stop the buffering but it still buffers no matter what. The Fire stick is connected to an access point at 5Ghz.

Any Kodi addon for those services use an external player, and Kodi is basically not involved at all other than perhaps as a front end.
