Solved Kodi 17.3 crashes playing videos
#1
Hello,
I installed Kodi 17.3 on Windows 10 64bit (fresh installation) but I'm not able to play any video, Kodi is crashing every time on the video startup.
I posted the last debug file:

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Noting in the log ->GUI format 3840x2160, Display 3840x2160@ 30.00 - Full Screen

Might be useful to set the desktop to 1920x1080@60 -Full screen, launch Kodi (does it launch?) if so hit the "\" slash key on the keyboard to utilize windowed mode. Shut down Kodi, reset your desktop, and once again Launch Kodi.... success? Consider full screen window in settings>system.

I tried out to switch the desktop to a lower resolution with no success, Kodi still crashed. Finally I found the solution by pure chance: I tried to switch audio output from HDMI directsound back to default directsound and Kodi crashed, then I reinstalled the audio drivers (the same version) and all the videos now seem to playing well again.
I want to thank who has spent some time to answer this request.
Very best.
