Kodi 17.3 cannot find usb
#1
Hello
I have an Android media player. with kodi version 16.1
i can install addons from a usb fkash drive , the flash drive and files are accessible to install from a zip file

after upgrading to kodi 17.3 i cannot find the usb flash drive to install files

i am using the confluence skin for both kodi versions

is the option in a different place to locate my usb drive with kodi 17.3 or perhaps
something different with my media player ?
thanks

Look under videos > files from the main menu

What exactly are you trying to install?

USB drives are treated differently from network shares and drives as they are local but removable.

with kodi 17.3 it still cannot find my flash drive. tried in main menu under video, files i tried typing smb://USB30FD (name of my drive ) didn't work
i downgraded to kodi 16.1 , it sees the drive , its listed as sda1 once i upgrade again to 17.3 do you think i need to type sda1://USB30FD ? browse doesn't find the drive in 17.3
