IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

Sweet! If ring would write an open API (with live feeds!), i'm sure many more people would buy a ring too

agreed. my ideal feature would be a pop of a still photo when the ring is activated.

Yea man, as far as I can tell ring doesn't even offer jpeg snapshots. But the W.A.F. of push notifications, and offsite storage is really nice.

This looks great @jlippold, thanks! Please add it to the official repo, having Ring support in Kodi is huge!

Can anyone confirm whether this works in Kodi 16 or needs Kodi 17 (for HTTPS)?

So this doesn't pop up and display the video feed, but instead will bring up a list of videos from the Ring Subscription, and then you can view that?

Do you have to go to the app to bring up the videos, or will it pop-up a notification of an alert, that you can click on to see? I'm guessing I will be watching a TV show or Movie in Kodi, and your add-on will do something onscreen, or am I thinking to far ahead for this app?

I know that Ring is working on an app for Android TV that will use the Picture in Picture function. Also, the app works on Amazon's Echo Show (without the voice feature), just wondering how exactly this works in Kodi.

Yea this is just accessing recorded videos. No alerts or live views, I'm hoping ring opens its API soon so we can do more

Wow man, looks really cool!
What is your opinion, is it possible to make something like your app but for SkyBell video doorbell?
I debated whether to get the Ring or Sky Bell and decided to get the Sky Bell because it had the on-demand video capability and it's made in the USA.

Sky bell probably has a totally different API, so this wouldn't work for that
