Please update the current version of ffmpeg in Kodi 17.4 RC1.
In ffmpeg 3.1 is a stutter in the live TV with multichannel sound (H265 Video and 5.1 AAC Audio).
In Kodi 18.0 with ffmpeg 3.3 works fine.

we are not going to update v17 to ffmpeg3.3
Also who says it's ffmpeg and not "random other fix/improvement" that went into v18?
Solution: use v18

That would be really regrettable. Kodi 18 still has many errors and does not support many addons. That would be no alternative for me and I can not understand why ffmpeg 3.3 should not be pure in Kodi 17.4? The aac error in ffmpeg 3.1 occurs with many channels with the live TV of the German television.
In ffmpeg 3.3 was a AAC fix.
Ffplay with ffmpeg 3.1 does not work
Ffplay with ffmpeg 3.3 works perfectly

I have no difficulty with AAC 5.1 audio in PVR on Kodi 17.3

Too much work to get it in v17 and no one cares to do it. There will be no discussion about this at all.
