I want to see the album thumbnail and song name when streaming to kodi.
the problem is that kodi only shows the name without thumbnail on the upper right corner, within the general menu of kodi.

When i click "back" on the remote control kodi goes into "play mode" which on it i can see all i wanted: thumbnail, progress bar, album and song name.
but then when the song is over kodi get back to the menu and the next song shows again only in the general menu.

i checked all settings and found no way to make kodi display the play mode pernemently.

That can mean anything. Streaming from what? A NAS, from another kodi client....more details please.

A shot in the dark...I would suggest another skin which has that option.

The streaming is from windows.
i use the defualt skin of kodi 17.3
i tried to change skin and the same problem occoured.
If it will be posible i would prefer to leave the defualy skin.

are albums and songs added to a library?

if i play it from kody (for example mp3 file on SD card) then it stays on the "now playing" screen. but if i'll stream from windows, it quit from the now playing screen once the song is over.
