If an addon has its own repo installed on my box, but I want it to automatically get it's updates from another repo that i have installed, what do I do?

Sounds very much like banned addon territory and some dodgy repos that you're trying to use, but in answer to your question an addon will pull an update from any repo which has a version number > the current version.
