Hello iakath,

On behalf of the Kodi Team, thank you very much for your very kind words.

It is always nice to receive a compliment while working through an ocean of complaints Smile

Oh, so it's complaints you want! Right, here goes! This bloody KODI software uses too much of my bloody time because it's too good! Why did you have to go and invent a bloody brilliant thing like that?! Shame on you! Shame!

Yeah it pisses meet off how much time I spend futzing with settings, trying new skins, moderating forums, annoying the family with settings and skin changes when I could be, umm, what were my other hobbies??

No problem. You guys work hard. All the complainers should either put up or shut up. Sure, issues arise, okay. As the old adage says, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth". You guys are amazing. I can't do what you do, I don't even understand really how it works... but somehow it just does. The fact it does, boggles my mind.

I have wanted to say thank you too, I was originally a windows MCE user until Microsoft stopped supporting it. I went to Sky for my TV needs, however my tv useage has changed so looked for a legal alternative to get TV in my bedroom which didn't involve drilling a hole in the wall for a cable, and a way to play my local media to both rooms which gave me Sky.Q functionality (Stop a movie in one room, pick up from where you left off in another!) my usual go to for R&D is YouTube and google. Unfortunately nowadays when you are looking to setup a HTPC legally you have to cut through the piracy addons, the #fakenews and 'builds' to get to legitimate information.

I now have freeview (Uk terrestrial live TV via Ariel) via an HDHOMERUN tuner, my movies and TV shows I have bought on my server, I'm using the MySQL database for media library management etc, and have modded the eustary theme to personalise the home menu and PVR.

Kodi has made this possible and I now have a nice stable setup that can now take over from my dish supplier, so again, thank you Team Kodi, in this time of bad press and misinformation and the crud that ends up here and your twitter account, I just wanted to say this as I feel that although this is a support forum, every so often software developers just need to hear that their code is working for the end user and their hard work is not in vain.

Keep up the great work Team Kodi 😀

A lot of our time is spent dealing with complainers or piracy rule breakers, so the team really appreciates genuine thank you posts. Thank you back.

I can only agree with what has just been said: thanks for all your hard work and all your support!!
I really dont know where to begin and when to end: inputstream, live tv, browser, weather, music, movies, vod, games etc., etc.!!
Beside Kodi, any other solution appears like a cheap imitation......

I'm pretty much the same as you except I've replaced Virgin Media with Freeview via HDHomerun instead of Sky and I've been too lazy to setup MySQL when a few clicks of the remote gets me to the same point of my/our viewing lol.

I'm sure I've conveyed my thanks to the team in the past but let me say thank you to all involved again, without Kodi I wouldn't have all my locally stored media, my TV viewing and recordings as well as much of my online viewing available across my home on all of our TV's within the best damn TV friendly interface ever made.

As an aside for years I've been amazed that no commercial media player or service copies Kodi's best and sometimes basic features, but please remember many of us appreciate what all Kodi team members do but probably don't say it enough.
