On first opening a viewtype, TV Posters load (or seem to) instantly, movies always lag?

With preloaditems has no effect.
Set (collections) Posters for movies load instantly.

Is it just all the info involved with movies slowing it down, or is the image getting loaded last?

This is on Leia but was same on Krpyton, before that I cant rememeber!

Hmm, seems my images are coming from the web, wtf. Artwork downloader isnt saving to disk...

Hmm, or is Kodi not saving artwork

Kodi isnt downloading poster images, all others are ok.. it's just putting the image http link for posters ?

Can anyone explain how I change this behaviour?

I do not want web content as main poster, but to download poster. This is movies only, not TV/series posters.

Is it the metadata util or AD? baffffffled here ..

Definitely the kodi app that isnt downloading artwork ..

No problems for me with both versions when I disconnected my internet connection all poster/fanart load perfectly.

What are you using to scrape them?

Well I installed Krypton as a clean install, removed all previous Kodi settings, so standard Kodi installed scrapers.
The only other thing I can do is delete my SQL db, and rescan... all I can think is common denominator.

Let me try block internet...

Yeah it's trying to pull from internet the latest ones.
And it also pulls random qualitys.. meh.
Will reset SQL db and see..
