In Video, I can choose the index.bdmv file from a Blu-ray folder and play the chapters. 2 limitation

1. It does not appear to support fast forward

2. There is no way to bring up the menu

Is there any setting or addon I would need to change?

Looks like both are abandoned in 2015. No update since.

Check Kodi Leia 18, now have native support bd java* (disc menu), libbluray 1.0.1.

bd-j menu support for isos
bd-j menu support for disc on samba shares and the like
