I am aware that UPNP is not being actively developed these days. There is one thing, which may be easy to implement and hope someone could pick it up.

I am using Kodi as UPNP server. Unfortunately, UPNP clients cannot read the album year. The command should be "dc:date", but Kodi is not providing this information via UPNP.

Anyone could help? Thanks in advance!

But it is not something I know anything about, or am likely to pick up in the forseeable future.
