Found an interesting glitch in Kodi 17.3 for Windows. I used Kodi to view a DVD "Warcraft" and had gone to bed. I forgot that the DVD was in the DVD drive. I went to start Kodi to watch a Food Network stream when it froze up. It had flashed the Kodi Starting page and then just showed the cursor. Nothing moved and my hard drive light was a solid ON. After restarting the machine three times I thought about DVD and removed it. Kodi started up right away. I wish it had just detected the disk, start up and then let me know the disk was in the machine instead of wasting about 30 minutes of my time.

No idea why you posted this here but that's not a Kodi problem it's Windows trying to boot from the disc by the sounds of it.
