Force Screen Resolution?
#1
Is there a way to force Kodi to always use a specific resolution and not detect the current resolution? Sometimes I remote into the desktop at a lower resolution (with Kodi minimized to the taskbar) but when pushing the video connection back to the TV Kodi does not auto-resize back to 1080p. I must restart Kodi or open Settings to readjust.

thx for the help

Perhaps in all the above, you could incorporate the slash '\' key into your remote, which flips between windowed resolution last set and full screen? Minimise & Maximise from the taskbar would be a windows diddle.

It goes from min->max no problem... but the resolution is hosed. Was hoping there was a way in advancedsettings to force the resolution?

This advancedsettings.xml (wiki) 2.11.6 fullscreen

Starts Kodi in full screen (check resolutions!).
<fullscreen>false</fullscreen>

I've set this up on a reload batch file

Jumping into a specified resolution has come up before; perhaps there's a solution in these threads.
