How to stream video from bluray to Ubuntu PC?

Video
Good day everyone,
I recently got SONY BDP-S370 BLuray/Dvd player.
I would like to stream video from Sony to Ubuntu PC. So far according to the research I can use DLNA/UPNP client
such as Kodi. I have the ip address of BD player which is connected to a router along with Ubuntu pc.
In this thread on Ubuntu forums it is mentioned that it's possible to stream video to PC from Bluray/dvd player.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,

CS

Why do you want to do that? Do you want to stream Blurays to Kodi (Im pretty sure this wont work because of DRM) or the other way around?

@codesonic and the answer is in the 3rd posting in that thread: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?...st12179265

Set your Kodi as a DLNA/UPnP client. Assuming your Sony BDP-S370 is able to act as a DLNA/UPnP server. You will know best by reading its manual.
