Streaming Local Media Without Libraries?
#1
Hi,

I have a pi 3 in my room and want to access local media I have stored on my laptop as well as media on my NAS however, is there a way I can watch my video files without adding them to a library?

This is for media that I will watch just as a once off.

Thanks

Yes, but you still need to add the folder as a Source in Kodi. Once it is added as a source, mark it as "This directory contains- None". Doing this will stop any scraping and library additions.

To see the contents navigate via Videos>Files, then into the source you added.
