Kodi 17 - The never ending video cache issue - Rasp pi + libreElec
#1
I need to get some help to solve caching on my kodi.

I have a Raspberry Pi 2 model B.
Im running LibreElec

In
Code:
LibreELEC:~/.kodi/userdata #

I have added:
Quote:advancedsettings.xml

In that one I have

Code:
<advancedsettings>
  <cache>
    <buffermode>1</buffermode>
    <memorysize>0</memorysize>
    <readfactor>30</readfactor>
  </cache>
</advancedsettings>

I have tried various settings from: kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO%3AModify_the_video_cache

I have been away from Kodi and last I was using 16. As I remember that time I was able to have a cache where the source files were download to the SDcard. It gave some problems where I had to empty cache via SSH - but the problem now is that Im not able to watch bigger source files.

Any hits

I've watched plenty of videos with a Raspberry Pi 2 and always used the default settings.
Are you sure caching is the real problem?
Provide a debug log file so we can see what's going on.

What is the source of the video files?
Local network? Ethernet or wifi? NFS or SMB?
