It would be great if there was a place to centrally store API keys that kodi and plug-in authors could reference:

There are several common API keys used by kodi, I personally use:
TMDB
TVDB
fanart.tv
Open Weather
Weather Underground
Youtube
OMDB
MusicBrainz

Does anyone think that it would make sense to store these centrally somewhere in kodi so I don't have to remember to enter them everywhere and KODI & Plugins could access them?

Maybe add to addons.db or advancedsettings.xml?

That could burden core files with endless amount of various keys.

Also keys are usually for development not personal use.

Now we all need to use our own personal and development API keys so now it does make sense to have something like this
