Win hevc 10bit support in HW(gpu)?
#1
Hello,

I have noticed that kodi 17.3 does not play hevc 10bit(ultra hd) movies with hardware acceleration.
With hevc 8bit movies, no problem.
Will there be any support for 10bit(dxva)?
Also checked this with mediainfo and within kodi with the "o" key.

I'm also using media player classic home cinema which supports hevc 10bit without any problem.(with dxva or cuvid)

windows 7 64bit
kodi 17.3
msi geforce gtc1060 6GB(supports hevc 10bit decoding and encoding)
intel core2 quad cpu Q9650

kind regards

Using Kodi 17.3, Windows 10 and a Nvidia GT1030, and 4K 8/10bit hw acceleration works just fine.
