What is going on with Pictures section in Kodi 17.3 on RPi 3 (both OPENElec and LibreELEC)?
Thumbnail generation is slower than Jarvis. Opening any photo takes a long time - the first fade in is painfully slow. Switching between photos is also slower but the real pain begins when I want to rotate or zoom in/out on a photo - in Jarvis it rotates so fast that I can make a blurry circle out this animation and in Krypton - damn its slow! Same goes for zooming. Another thing that was fixed a long time ago was returning to the last watched photo when exiting from full screen and not the one that you enter full screen from - why is this back in Krypton?
All of this is accompanied by very high CPU temperatures compared to watching anything on Pi.
Is this normal behavior? Are these issues going to be fixed or should I just go back to Kodi 16 for now?
