I need help with my firestick remote.
I am helping a friend with his firestick but cant do anything because the remote does not connect.
Can anyone help me?
I have already tried the most common solutions:
- Hold home button for 10 secs
- Hold select & play button down for 5 to 10 secs
- Hold select for 5 seconds
- Hold left directional, menu & back button at same time
- Reset firestick
Connected it to my chrombook samsung
I have even contacted amazon and they are unable to help me.
I cannot use the firestick remote app on my phone because the firestick is not connected to my wifi.
If anyone knows any other alternatives, please please help me.

Home Button 10 seconds should fix it. Maybe your battery is empty?

Aside from wanting to use the remote to control it, what does this actually have to do with Kodi?

You'd be better off with a more general firestick forum than here, we're not focussed on hardware we do not provide (and as we do not provide any hardware, it's a very sharp focus).

If Amazon are unable to help you then it may be time to get a new device.
