Stuck on Preparing. Scanning for new content on rpi3
#1
Hi guys, I hope someone will be able to help me with this issue that I am trying to fix for 2 days now.

I have a raspberry pi 3 with Kodi 17.3 and I have installed Libreelec and OSMC. The issue is occuring on both os it doesnt matter if it's Libreelec or OSMC.

So everytime I try to add my movies to my library, it get stuck on the Preparing and Scanning for new content, I let it run for about 1h last night and 1h today, it never progress pass 0% or on osmc the progress bar does not move at all.

If I click on a button on my controller while the scanning is running, the rpi3 crash and I need to unplug the power.

Im trying to add it by NFS, I have one folder that contains around 700 movies files.

kodi.log: http://paste.osmc.io/uhimurigap.vhdl

kodi.old.log: http://paste.osmc.io/veruvasaku.vhdl

If you need more information please let me know.

Thanks.

First...I fixed your links in your posting. Both links have pointed to the same logfile. Now the kodi.log and the kodi.old.log are available

What I see is:

Quote:13:58:22.927 T:1958319024 DEBUG: ADDON: Dll Initializing - InputStream Adaptive
16:34:34.001 T:1958319024 DEBUG: SECTION:LoadDLL(/usr/lib/kodi/addons/inputstream.adaptive/inputstream.adaptive.so.1.0.8)

Those 2 lines are following directly after each other. I don´t see a library scan at all in your logs. So either you cutted the log or it takes nearly 2,5 hours to initialize InputStreamAdaptive which I would doubt a bit Big Grin

Thanks for the reply and the links fix.

I did not cut/edit the log files at all, I don't know why that happened, maybe there was an error with the old.kodi.log because the kodi.log does not have that large gap.

I have older logs files if you need them but they are bigger and less clean but I can upload them if needed.

EDIT:

Here is a full debug log that contains the Pi config, sources.xml, kernel message log etc..(but the kodi.log in there does not cover my issues): https://paste.osmc.tv/uqaqufekeb

And here is even more kodi.log I have from yesterday:

kodi.log1: https://paste.osmc.tv/mosafefeju.coffee

kodi.log2: https://paste.osmc.tv/vuyihokuwu.coffee

kodi.log3: https://paste.osmc.tv/qegosebexo.vhdl

This is my first time playing with this, so I might have generated the logs the wrong way or something, it might not be clear and can be confusing with all of these differents files, but if you need me to replicate the issue and generate a new debug log or something else, please just tell me what you need and how I need to do it.
