My friend has Kodi on a Firestick which has Amozon Prime on board. In a non- smart Panasonic TV only a very few things work. ISP is BT.

His fire stick works fine in my smart TV.

To complicate matters my fire stick with the same Kodi build and no Amazon prime doesn't work either on his TV but is great on my smart TV with a different ISP ( Sky ).

Any thoughts?

What do you mean by it doesn't work? You'll need to be more specific about the issue.

Re ISP I'm no expert so was just trying to give as much information as possible.

The specific problem is that he can load and enter Kodi, load an addon( video plug in for example ). but when he selects something from the menus nothing streams .

And what do you mean by build?

Normally this kind of thing is due to ISPs blocking illegal content.
