Hello,

I recently installed the latest version of Kodi on my Fire Stick. The only video scaling methods I am apparently able to chose are Bilinear or Nearest Neighbour. Is this a hardware limitation due to the Fire Stick, or do I need to configure something else before I can choose other scaling methods (e.g., Lanczos3)?

If you use surface mediacodec, what you should do it's all done internally by mediacodec.

Lanczos3 and others are not available yet for pure GLES setups in kodi. WIP by lrusak and will most likely come into v18.
