v17 No 'VideoPlayer InputStream' Add-On Kodi 17.3
#1
Hi

Sorry, not sure if this is the right place but wondered if you could assist...

I'm attempting to enable my RTMP settings in Add-Ons/My Add-Ons, however I don't have the VideoPlayer InputStream option to be able to enable that setting, meaning that I can't watch any Live TV.

Is it possible to add this 'Add-On' in, or any ideas on how to get around?

Not sure what info you need, but my Version info is as below...

Build: 17.3 Git:20170616-9fcc05b

Any info/help would be great.

Thanks

Same here, please help

ok found it, but it is older than my grandma, version 1.0.8, how to update it so it actually works with anything? Just says "no updates available for this addon" which is obviously bullshit

I have the exact same problem. I read, that there are much newer Versions available for kodi 17.3 on libreelec 8.0.2 and that they should be the default-versions that are going to be installed when searching for the add-on. But therers only shown the 1.0.8 verison.

I then realized, that this version is coming from the libreELEC Addo-ons repository version 8.1.0.

On https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.adaptive they say that the repo is in the official kodi-repo. when I have a look in this repo inputstream.adaptive is not listed...

what am I doing wrong?

I was able to sort things out.

The problem was, that I had libreelec 8.0.1 installed. This includes not the newest official kodi repositories where the newest version of inputstream-plugin can be found.

I updated my libreelect to the newest version available (8.2.4) following this guide: https://wiki.libreelec.tv/how_to/update_...ng_the_cli

after that inputstream plugin was found in the newest version, and I was able to use eurosport-player plugin. Nice!

Well I finally was allowed by Kodi 17.6 to install InputStream but it didn't solve my youtube live problem. It first displays the first load circle then it disppears another gets shown followed by a 30 seconds wait period then the stream starts to play for 5 seconds, repeats itself and eventually aborts.
Any suggestions?

solved: nice. I solved it by enabling MPEG DASH in the Youtube settings.
