EyeTV Parser on AppleTV2 with SMB mount
#1
Hi,

I'm trying to get EyeTV Parser working on an AppleTV2 with the EyeTV library stored on an smb mount.

Every time I try to start EyeTV Parser, I get the error saying that the EyeTV Archive.xml file could not be parsed. Looking at the source code it seems to be a very generic error that could mean many things.

Has anyone succeeded in getting the plug-in to work?

I have mounted the SMB location and selected that path in the EyeTV Parser setup. I have verified by mounting the SMB share from another computer that I can open and read the contents of the EyeTV Archive.xml file in that path.

The file was originally invisible so that it didn't show up when in the Finder, however it did show up in Finder on the other computer when I removed the invisible bit from the file. Could this have anything to do with it?
When I relaunch EyeTV it sets the file invisible again automatically.

Any help getting this plug-in working is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Problem is due to external python on atv2.
Fixed by using xbmcvfs to copy file locally in version 1.0.1.
