Solved 1080 29fps iptv streaming pins CPU
#1
Using Amazon Fire TV Stick. Not sure what's going on here. When I play 1080 res videos from my nas it is fine, but when I stream 1080 from the internet, it pins all 4 CPU's at 100% and makes the video constantly choppy. Any ideas?

No Debug Log no issue
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Found the issue. It was the Simple IPTV PVR addon using a m3u stream. The problem is apparently with the way android decodes some streams. Apparently there are known issues and Android is simply not very good with software decoding of certain high res streams. I was able to turn on hardware accelleration and use the GPU. This solved the problem.
