I have searched the forum and read the guides but have not found the answer to my question.. Smile

How do I install 17.4 RC1 on Ubuntu? I have unstable ppa activated. If I activate nightly I get 18.

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
