Nope, not possible. It's a symptome of Kodi's caching behaviour. I have no control over it.

- service.nextup.notification support has been replaced with the successor service.upnext. Please uninstall it and/or replace it with service.upnext, which is available in the Emby beta repo.

 Uninstalled Nextup and installed UpNext, but it's not working for me.
When an episode comes to an end I don't see a postplay screen or a notification of any sort.
Ideas?

There is no postplay screen anymore. 
Don't forget that it only works for unwatched items by default and you have to enable it in the settings.

had been using Emby for WMC for years, but am now trying out Kodi....really like this skin...is there any way to adjust the icon sizes to increase the amount of movies shown on screen at once with "Poster" view?...i think it now shows like 12 at a time, 2x6, but would like maybe 3x8...the skins i used in Emby (Diamond and Chocolate) allowed you to incrementally increase or decrease the icon sizes to adjust how many movie icons you saw on the screen at once

 Sorry, if I missed it but what is the reason behind dropping support for the skin.helper? Is there a successor like there is with the nextup notification or has Kodi been updated to make the need for this add-on redundant?  Just wondering if any additional functionality was lost with this add-on being dropped.

Mainly because it's slow and expensive. Another reason is that it's not really maintained anymore and has too much issues. I've replaced all used featues with my own addon except the Rotten ratings. They will be directly provided by Emby in the future (if it's used).

Do you use Emby? If not, it's your userrating. If you use Emby it's the rotten rating.
