Hi, Hope someone can help! I'm a total newbie to Kodi and digital music altogether. Bought kit about 5 years ago and only just setting it up!
I have a Synology DS212j NAS drive and a Yamaha RX v673 AV receiver.
I connected the above to a network with a windows 10 PC and miraculously I managed to get FLAC files to play out on the Yamaha fine when I requested to play them from the Synology Audio Station.
However, that UI is useless and Kodi looked great so I installed that on the PC as a controller. Now when I request to play the FLAC music file by "play using" Yamaha, Kodi just skips straight to the next track and plays that out of my PC. I can't get the thing to stream the FLAC files?! Bizarrely - I can play MP3 files out of Yamaha from Kodi fine.
What am I doing wrong? Please help.
