NFS from Synology on Kodi
#1
Hi,

I'm trying to setup a NFS connection from my Synology NAS, however I seem to have a problem where I can see the videos on my Synology through Videos\Files\ Movies on Kodi, but don't seem to have a Movie section on the homescreen . Any idea what the issue may be?

Thanks in advance

You will need to 'scrape' your video collection into the Kodi database first.

I believe I've done this correctly. For example, at the moment I have "Fast & Furious" in my Movies Folder. This is located in "\Movies\Fast & Furious (2009)\movie.mkv"

If it had been done correctly, you then would have had the MOVIES main section in the Kodi GUI homescreen filled with one or more movies.
I'd say 'try again'. Smile

Not sure what happened. I had been running SPMC and had the above issue. As soon as I installed Kodi and told it where my Movies were located, it found my library and everything seems to be running smoothly. Not sure what the issue with SPMC is.

Dont use movie.mkv. The name of the movie file should reflect the actual novie name. Like you have in the folder name
