I have a streaming file White Zombie (1932).strm from youtube with the content:
plugin://plugin.video.youtube/?path=/root/video&action=play_video&videoid=lQ0hL4EBC58

I have a subtitle file White Zombie (1932).srt.

How do I use this subtitle file with the video stream? I don't get the option to select it when I play the video.

After a little digging I found you can use the "browse for subtitles" feature under the OSD settings menu. This allows you to select a subtitle file for streaming videos.

Not at all convenient but it works. I'll put in an enhancement request for an easier solution.
