but as you can see, again IGNORED the folder with the video mkv.

So I think is a Kodi's problem and not nfo problem.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I have the same issue with anything I try to scan in on 17.4. I tried starting with a fresh install and data folder and had no luck. Rolling back to 17.3 fixes the problem even when I use the same data folder with it.

My files were just set up in a simple path "A:/anime/[show name]/"
I also tried things from other paths and other formats and it changed nothing.

since 17.4 update, I can't add TV show to library. I have tried few scrapers like AniDB, and TVDB scrapers... I usually use AniDBMOD scraper, and it worked until update.
My TV Shows disk is mounted into /home/user/TV Shows and has two folders there, ANIME_SERIJE and TV_SERIJE.
I've added new anime shows yesterday, and usualy I browse into folder with animes, make 'right clikc' to bring up the menu on non scraped shows and select last options, I think it's 'Scan to database' in english. What SHOULD happen is giving me choice of selecting the TV show I want to add, and adding them. but nothing happens, no menu is shown. I use folder names for shows as shown on MyAnimeList, so rarely I have any problems... sometimes I need to enter manually the name, usually shorten it if it contains quite a long title.
But that doesn't happen now.
There is option above 'Scan to database' (second to last) which I can't recall it's name, which scans the folder and adds it to the database, but only if the titles are correct.
Will add more info as soon my daughter stops watching cartoons Smile

EDIT: i see now this is for windows wersions - I am still using Kodibuntu.

For what is worth, anidbmod has the show with it's name in the xml file. but if not, there was always the window where I could initiate manual entry and search.

You seem to have ignored Post #2 from kimkl.

You have "Selected folder contains a single video" enabled as shown in your screenshots when adding your source, since this is NOT the case have you tried with this setting disabled.

if that was the problem, scaping would not work with br folder structure & mkv files.

Instead working fine with br structure and not with mkv files

Your Source settings should be

I don't have any nfo's so not able to set local information only.

If still not working have you tried without the nfo's in place?
