Win FM Radio and Visualizations causes crashes.

Looks Like I've been having the same problems described in these threads.

https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=304098

and

https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=308569

Disabling the Visualization has eliminated the crashes for me.

I had done a fresh reinstall of Kodi 17.3 to try to troubleshoot, and while I was setting this up I discovered that several advancedsettings.xml tags had been deprecated .

I had been using the <minaudiocachelevel> tag as described in the end of this thread:

https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=222764&page=3

for Stuttering in FM radio.

So I have two questions:

One: Is it possible that caching is playing role in the crashes when using Visualtion with FM radio from Media Portal?
Two: Is there a replacement for the <minaudiocachelevel> tag, or is this no longer needed ?

I have not experienced the Stuttering in Radio playback since upgrading to 17.3, but I have not been using 17.3 long either.

I've no idea. Buffering and caching is done by Kodi. The PVR addon only provides the data as soon as it is available in the timeshift buffer file.
Developer of the MediaPortal PVR addon and retired developer of the Argus-TV PVR-addon.
