Hi there,

I run a htpc W10, kodi with emby add on as my main setup.

I've just purchased a second tv and setup a rpi3 and installed libreelec. The latest version. As I'm using the rpi3 on the old tv there is no CEC support.

I've added the advanced WOL adding to wake the server up. Which works fine.

The issue I have is when the rpi3 is on, the htpc won't go to sleep.

Ideally I'd like the htpc to sleep if the rpi3 isn't in use. Is there a way to do this?

Well I've found a solution and certainly not one for the purists.

I grabbed a master/slave eco power board. Now when I switch off my tv, the rpi3 turns off and my Server can take a nap. Turn the tv on and up boots rpi and goes straight into libreelec. Wol wakes the server and all is good.

Don't knock it, it works.
