Today I install fresh nightly of kodi win 32 To test its operation, especially progress in music library.
At some addons install i see that some addons report that " script.module.pil " no exist (openweather by example)


But the problem is that the kodi pc is connected to a TV by HDMI. If I switch PC -> TV -> PC, when i return to PC Kodi iis windowed and in screen i See icons, but no text.
MiniPC is Win 10 in a zotac with intel graphics

Today nightly (KodiSetup-20171012-e415c509c0-master-x64) have the same behaviour
Clean install in a PC with win10 connected to a toshiba regza via HDMI
After changing the source to TV, when returning to the pc via hdmi, the menu texts are not displayed and kodi is shown windowed

Are there any solution? Kodi krypton 17.4 (and previous) work without problems

If Kodi Krypton works fine, and you're having an issue with Leia; then, by all means, regress to it.

It's likely the issue will be cleared out as soon as a backlog of other tasks are handled. The developer's plate is pretty full atm and patience in the latest cutting edge has yet to be sharpened. As @Gracus noted, there's a good chance your issue has something to do with HDCP, and or the graphics driver. The differences between desktop and fullscreen appears to be the issue, throw in the default restoring of the screen and something gets scrambled. You might try and toggle the 'slash' key a few times to see if windowed/full screen redraws correctly. Use the log (wiki) to post paste-bin, not the old.log, and ensure the activity in the log.

I try nightly only for test purposes and upload my discovers with only wish that these bugs are solved before leia-final. 
My intention is to try from time to time and see if everything works but for daily I use Krypton

By the way, aeon skin seems to work fine but openweather extended dont find any city. still games (Retroplayer) not integrated into the default estuary menu?

I dont upload this time any log, but in first message you can find one with the same issue. Different nightly but exact bug.
I repeat the experiment because in this thread or other i dont see any kodi member with news about patches or work about this bug

Your reports are appreciated, with debug-logs. Openweather To use this addon, it is recommended to get your own api key and enter it in the addon settings. This will allow you to use the addon without any restrictions. you can get your api key at: http://openweathermap.org/appid and the thread is https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=207110 I would suggest you keep Leia as a portable install until such time, that it meets your criteria. http://kodi.wiki/view/Windows_FAQ#Portable

Similar graphics problem can be recreated on windows 10 and Kodi 18 beta 2 if you switch from the current logged in user, thereby taking you back to the windows sign on screen, and then return to your existing user session. Kodi will be squished into the top left corner of the screen and text will be missing. Still probably HDCP issue as the windows login screen seems to reinit the graphics.
