I am having problems with smb:// paths. It seems they are used by Kodi internally, but I don' know how to use them in addon. the discussion is here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=283342&page=18.
If I run addon on Windows it is enough to convert smb://name to \\name and it works. But not so on Android. I tried \\name and smb://name and nothing works.
Can anyone shed light? I develop on Windows and have no smb:// shares so I can't test...
