I restarted serverwmc, then I started Kodi and selected a HD channel and left it - while stuttering - for some seconds and stopped.

Sorry for the late reply.  According to the log there doesn't seem to be any buffering problem as the video plays (although its not definitive).  Since you are playing h264 video try this just as an experiment and see if it makes a difference.  In the serverwmc settings change the setting for GenerateDTS_h264 to the following
<GenerateDTS_h264>false</GenerateDTS_h264>

then save the file and restart serverwmc.  Then test the live stream again (on the same channel you did before).

I decided to wait for the Beta of Kodi 18 - but unfortunately the same problem still exists in the Beta.
Any further ideas ?
