I have a Vero running Kodi and I use an external 5tb HDD for my movies.
I use Carbon Copy Cloner to sync the movies from my server to my HDD.
When I access the HDD on Kodi I can see the 2 movie folders. however the main movies folder (750 someodd movies) cannot be accessed.
This is usually after a power down although I properly ejected the drive through Kodi, or it's after I add new movies to the drive.

The only workaround is to move the folder in it's entirety into the other movie folder and then move it back to where it originally resided.
Anyone have any ideas why the folder cannot be accessed? the other folder on the same drive can be browsed with flying colors.

You will need to provide a debug log. The instructions are in my signature. Use the Basic method. Once you have enabled debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging, restart Kodi then replicate the problem. In your case, try to select and play a movie from that inaccessible folder. Once done upload to pastebin and link back here.
