Maybe you can weigh in on an issue.
Quite a few of mine and others add-ons are starting to depend on Widevine playback via Inpustream.
Inputstream doesn't include the Widevine DRM so it needs to be manually downloaded and installed.
A solution to this was to make a helper add-on library that downloads the correct widevine and installs it.
The add-on doesn't contain the DRM, but just downloads it and installs it (like the getwidevine.sh but for all systems)
Any add-ons that then need Widevine can simply put the helper module as a dependency and call a simple function in their code to install it if required.
What would be the chance of getting something like this into the official Repo?
