Ok running the trial alpha and running an unsupported graphics card FX5200 (no open gl 2.0) with an uncommon desktop xfce and big surprise the -fs flag does not work. Any easy way to map the \ key to a lirc button so I can go full screen on my mythbox or other possible workaround. I tried mapping it with lircrc but doesn't work and I don't quite understand your xml lirc system enough to call the command although I did write the lirc xml for people who wanted to get their snapstream firefly remotes working in a previous post.
Here is what I tried with lircrc to no avail

I'm using
/opt/xbmc/XboxMediaCenter -fs -q
to launch
Despite running this on an underpowered graphics card it still runs well. You guys do great work. I had one small crash adding a samba share but can't repeat it. Everything else is flawless. I'm probably going to update only once you get DVD support fully working them I'm good since the more features you add the less chances of this rig running it.
