Hi,
I'm running Kodi on a Jetway JBC310W HTPC, connected via HDMI to a Toshiba 32BV701B. It's working well, but now I'm trying to connect an Orbitsound ONE P70 soundbar and I get nothing from it. I'm using aux as the TV has no optical connection (soundbar has aux and optical). I'm actually using the headphone socket on the TV as I can't see that it has a line out. Should this work? I've also tried an RCA (TV) to 3.5mm jack (soundbar) and that doesn't work either. Finally, I tried connecting the soundbar (aux) direct to the headphone socket on the HTPC, and that doesn't work (I'd rather go via the TV though).
In Kodi I've set the TV HDMI as the output device, no passthrough (not sure what this is for tbh).
The soundbar works fine via bluetooth, and via a desktop PC line out.
Here's are the TV connections and the Kodi output device used:
Any ideas how to get this working? Do I need to get a TV with better connections?
