I can't find any possibility tor deleting existing favorites at apple tv 4.

Where are your movies stored?
Just remove them from your library or if you want to permanently delete them from your shared folder then do so then update + clean your library.
Moving to OS Independent as this is not Mac OS related nor is it OS specific.

Manually editing the favourites.xml file should (and restart Kodi) work.

I might misunderstand here, but i just longpress the fav i want to delete and choose delete from the context menu..
