@liftoo, yes it´s possible, you need create 2 smartplayst based on path, will work fine. After create your 2 smartplaylist, use customize main menu (submenu in settings item), in movies item use replace function, in the right list, choose +videoplaylist, select your playlist for regular hd or sd movies item, after go to first empty item in the left item, use replace function again, choose +videoplaylist, select your playlist with 4K movies, remember rename items and clone submenu for movies and movies 4k, have function there for it. Done.

Use "Start With" when create your smartplaylists.

From what I'm reading here it sounds as if the "cloned" submenus aim to the smartplaylist as well, but the don't ;(

So it's possible to make a main menu entry from a SPL, but what to do if one wants the submenus (like actors, year, studio, etc.) to only show items from the SPL?
