Kodi crashes every 24h
#1
Hello,

Since version 17.4, Kodi crashes every 24h (approximatively).

I can provide crash log if needed

Kodi run on a VM from a Proxmox (Debian) host. The VM run Linux Mint on his latest version with MATE.

If more details is needed, please feel free to ask.

Regards,

Guillaume

A debug log that captures the crash please. See debug log (wiki)

Does this happen shortly after turning on your TV?

Hi,

I don't know if theses ones are ok:

http://184.149.24.86:6005/Kodi/2017/2017...180143.log
http://184.149.24.86:6005/Kodi/2017/2017...195111.log

For your question about the TV, Kodi ran on a Linux Mint VM on a Proxmox host, however its
possible to view the desktop by using the console and when Kodi crashes, I go to the console and he
was not opened anymore and in my home directory there was the crash logs.

Just to be clear, Kodi is used to play the FLAC music files 24/24 (at least try to) and I use
Icecast2/Ices2 for accessing the stream in Ogg Vorbis format.

Regards,

Guillaume

If it crashes, there is a crashlog with a backtrace.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

something both given links holds. however, both of these are crashes at startup and not related to flac playback or the likes.
