simple question who develops the hdhomerun pvr plugin as i want to see about having a simple change made to the way channels are named.

Which one do you mean, there are two:

Add-on:HDHomeRun_PVR (wiki) - the author is zcsizmadia.

Add-on:HDHomeRun (wiki) which is the official one written by Silicon Dioxide themselves.

@yonu - the channels names come from the HDHomerun themselves. There is nothing you can do about the names unfortunately. I have inquired with SiliconDust about this.

You can create a custom m3u playlist and use custom names that way though.

you can use this as a template and change info to match your network. (will require an xmltv.xml file though for guide data)

I am referring to the pvr plugin

ok thanks i was just hoping it was possible to change it in the pvr plugin for the kodi epg to append the channel number to the name not so much as change it as i am running 2 pvr clients and the hdhomerun has 3 channels with the exact same name
