Yes, I have tested it on Nvidia Shield Pro (2017) and the current v18 (64bit only tested) versions work without this error.

It sure does! This .apk seems to resolve the missing PILs.
Hopefully this fix can be pushed as an official update. Fixed EIM and colorbox errors.

I downloaded the file with Safari and Chrome with the same result.
EDIT:
This APK installed fine after I uninstalled 17.5.1.
I can confirm this fix works. No more exteneded script errors for me.

I can confirm the 20171030 .apk is working with the PIL for Extended info script and Colorbox.

I started this post and still can't figure out how to provide a Debug Log to you to resolve the Toolbox error message I'm receiving. Reading the "Post a Debug Log" instructions doesn't help since I have Kodi with a Fire TV - no copy/paste feature. Can you provide instructions so I can get my Debug Log to you? Thanks.

Log file/Easy (wiki) should work on Fire TV for you with this issue.

Did you install the latest nightly that fixes the issue?? If not then of course its still not gonna work.
