Solved Video playback problems for some files, not all
#1
Hello,

I have a FireTV box. In the past few days, maybe a week or so, a lot of video files aren't playing. I can load them up on my Ubuntu machine just fine through the default Videos application and through mpv/VLC.

I've included the kodi.log file from my FireTV. If anyone could let me know what's up, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks!

Please do not paste logs directly into the forum. Use a public pastebin type site for all logs.

Debugging was not enabled, so the log is of no use. Enable it in Settings>System Settings>Logging. Then restart Kodi and replicate the problem

Try again.

I enabled debugging, and it turns out it's a permissions issue.

This definitely isn't the appropriate place for that.

Thanks for the reply.
