Old-TV Overlay in 4:3 videos
#1
Hello everyone,

I'm Jeff, from France.

I hope someone will help me, for this request :

I'm working on a huge media center of retro sports videos I have in 4:3 format. I'm on Kodi, AEON Nox 5, in an android tv box (Himedia Q10).

And I would like to apply on all my videos an .png overlay which looks like this :

I've tried to use Retroarch as an external player, but it didn't worked (maybe I failed with the code of the external player) and crashed Kodi.

I hope I can set up this overlay image in the structure of a video itself, in an .xml file, but I've no idea how it can be done

Note : I've searched in "overlays, gui skin, gui settings, video player, custom skin..."

Thanks a lot for any help.

I believe lunatixz has done this before in the past.

IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.
