Wondering if anyone else is having this problem, I have amazon fire stick and running latest version of kodi but I keep getting a black box popping up mainly in top left hand corner but some times it a bigger box and covers most of the screen , any idea of and fix? Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

Kodi does not display any black boxes on its own. Get us a debug log (wiki) for more internal details.

I have just realised since posting this it is happening on every part of my fire stick not justhe koldi but happens more frequently on kodi i think should I still find the debug file or is this nothing i find help with in here now it's not just a kodi problem?

If it's happening everywhere then it's not likely to be an issue with Kodi. I would suggest making enquiries in an Android or FireOS specific forum as unless one of our users has experienced this and has an insight, it is beyond the scope of the forum.
